The delightful cottage is ideal for couples looking to get away from it all and sample the delights of the wonderful surrounding area. The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen which is perfect for preparing a home-cooked meal for two. There is also a cosy sitting room, with dining table which is ideal for unwinding and watching a film, after a busy day of sightseeing. Upstairs you will find an inviting double bedroom, a bathroom and a sun room which enjoys views over the mature garden and is perfect for settling down with a good book. Outside there is a small enclosed patio, with a table and chairs to sit at whilst relaxing and soaking up the sun. Carleton is a peaceful village with a selection of amenities including a pub, village store, Post Office and pharmacy. Skipton, known as The Gateway to the Dales is a short drive away, where you will find a bustling high street full of traditional pubs, shops and restaurants, as well as the medieval castle. Other attractions include canal boat trips, walks through the enchanting Skipton Woods and shopping at the town centre’s market. This area is a hiker's dream with walks to be enjoyed from the doorstep and the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, just a short drive away. If you weren’t spoilt enough with one National Park, The Lake District can be found within an hour's scenic drive. This is an ideal holiday home to enjoy the best of countryside but with the benefits of a vibrant town close by.
