Honley with it's old centre of cobbled streets, is set on the banks of the River Holme. The village has a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. The Grade II listed church has the remains of a set of stocks in its grounds. Just three miles away is the town of Holmfirth, famed as being the setting for comedy series Last of the Summer Wine. It has a good public swimming pool and fitness centre, parks, shops and restaurants. Huddersfield, and the cities of Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester, as well as the delights of the Peak District National Park are within reach.

Nice open plan social layout upstairs and all 3 bedrooms good and equitable sizes. The hot-tub was fantastic and the whole area is quiet and relaxing. Short walk into Honely with a lovely meal at Punch Tapas. Lovely welcoming host, shortbread was fantastic!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend break.

Owners are v welcoming and on hand if you need anything but were very unobtrusive. V much appreciated the thoughtful welcoming touches (especially the homemade shortbread!). Lovely walks right from the doorstep. Handy shops, pubs etc. nearby in the village. Super comfy beds! Thanks for a great stay
