Set in a rural location, Caldwell is ideally suited for anyone wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. The historic centres of Durham and Ripon are within 30 minutes' drive, and the elegant shops of Northallerton are just under an hour away. Jervaulx, Rievaulx and Fountains Abbey are within easy reach, as are the stunning Bowes Museum, High Force Waterfall, Raby Castle, and spectacular countryside walks and scenery. There are numerous country houses to visit and for the complete family day out, Lightwater Valley lies nearby.

The cottage was a home from home and had all the facilities needed. Kate and Ed are on site to help with any issues if required.. The location is excellent for exploring County Durham and North Yorkshire would highly recommend.

The cottage was just perfect. Lovely and comfortable. Decor really nice. The wet room was a huge bonus and perfect showers. Private garden for sitting out and dining alfresco. Fantastic site. Stunning location. Plenty Of places to visit. It ticked all our boxes in every way. Thank You Kate & Ed.

The cottage was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It was our first time away with our dog and we couldnât have had a better place to stay. Highly recommend.
