This cottage is set in the hamlet of Middlesmoor at the head of picturesque Upper Nidderdale and offers peace and tranquillity in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideally placed to explore the stunning Nidderdale Valley, and beyond, on foot, bicycle or car. The area provides marvellous bird watching and the Nidderdale Way is right on the doorstep. Scar House Reservoir is located at the head of the dale and is ideal for level walking with amazing views. The National Trust properties of Fountains Abbey and Studley Deer Park are close by, as are Brimham Rocks with their acres of stunning rock formations. For an alternative day out visit the Spa town of Harrogate with its wide selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants or take a day trip to York which abounds with historical interest. For those who like to end their walks at the pub there is an excellent one in the village.
