The view was great and the barn is lovely. It's short walk to Hathersage and only. assort drive to lots fo great places. The path down to the barn is steep with steps, gates and gravel. To do this every day was a good fitness builder, but it is not suitable for everyone. There were some small things that could have been better - having to empty the dishwasher from the previous person to find the cutlery, the bathroom bins not being empty from the previous person and no replacement bin bags available.

Only note step walk from parking area to cottage for those less mobile. Great central base for walking.

The heating was good, so it felt warm, even in a cold week with snow. The path down to it is steep with steps which could be an issue for some, but we were fine.
