Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust on headboards and grubby appliances. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The location is consistently described as beautiful and ideal for walking and exploring the countryside. The quiet hamlet setting and proximity to nature reserves and towns are highly valued, despite some comments about steep access roads.

Spotlessly clean throughout and everything you could need inside. The owners were friendly and on hand if needed. A lovely location and a great base for exploring the local area. No negatives at all - we would return in a heartbeat.

  • Helen

Equipped with everything you need. Beds really comfy! Was great to have the log burner for the chilly evenings too. Lovely and quiet with great views. Only slight issue was lack of immediate/accessible outside space to let the dog out. Would stay again definitely.

  • Kirsty

Great walks from the door. Really well equipped and a great stay overall.
