There are a further three large en-suite bedrooms, including the lovely main suite, which features a freestanding cast iron bath and stained glass arched window. There is an additional ground floor king-size double bedroom, also en-suite, which looks on to the rear courtyard and all beds are fitted with superb Hypnos mattresses to ensure a good night’s sleep. The spacious sitting room with cosy and stylish furniture, which can seat your full party, has a huge inglenook fireplace, woodburning stove, with arched French doors to a flagged patio area. A second staircase leads to a galleried area containing a small seating area and library, the perfect place to retire for some peace and quiet! The modern, well-equipped, SieMatic kitchen has a comfy seating area, along with a small 4-seater dining area and Silestone breakfast bar seating a further two people. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, including a large four oven range cooker with 6-zone hob, built-in fridge and freezer, microwave and 12-setting dishwasher. Adjoining is also a useful utility area, with additional storage, washer/dryer and drinks fridge. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a spacious dining room, with large oak table, chairs and further double pew seating, leading through to a cosy snug with a Broseley Canterbury woodburning effect, electric stove., where you can curl up by with a glass of wine and reminisce the day’s adventures. Explore the spacious six-acre grounds, or sit out on your choice of three patio areas and enjoy alfresco dining on warm summer evenings, as you enjoy the magnificent south-facing views. The attractive Pennine town of Hebden Bridge is located within the Calderdale area and is home to the picturesque Rochdale canal and delightful Victorian railway station. With the National Trust owned Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way close by, this region is a wonderful place for both walkers and cyclists. Alternatively, visitors can enjoy a scenic ride over the moors to Haworth, home to the Parsonage Museum that commemorates the famous Bronte family who lived there. Steam railway enthusiasts will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, and the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax - noted for its unique Piece Hall and Victorian architecture. Skipton, sometimes called the 'Gateway to the Dales', is an easy and scenic car ride away.
