Within a short stroll are a newsagent, a bakery and two lovely pubs in the lovely village of Menston. Nearby Otley offers a good range of pubs, restaurants and markets. The popular town of Ilkley is a short drive away while Skipton is a great day out, hosting a picturesque castle. Take a trip to the spa town of Harrogate where you’ll find the original Bettys Tea Rooms, or spend a day at Harewood House with 100 acres of exquisite gardens, art collections and special events. The whole area abounds with lovely golf courses, including Otley, Ilkley and Alwoodley to name but a few. A superb touring base, ideal for a romantic break.

Menston is a village on the Southern fringes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering a small selection of amenities. Leeds is within touring distance, a city with many attractions from museums to an array of restaurants, bars and shops. Bradford offers the Media Museum, ice skating as well as a number of curry houses. Otley is three miles from Menston and has weekly markets.
