"What a lovely place, the lodge was perfect, the surroundings amazing and the icing on the cake were the owners. They couldn't do enough for you, perfect hosts and amazing people. Very highly recommended."

"This is a lovely little place. Very well equipped and very clean. The surrounding are perfect and the wildlife amazing. We had squirrels looking through the window to see if we would put out any more nuts for him. Too many varieties of birds to mention. The crowning glory for this place are the hosts. The best we have ever known. Mary and David went out of their way to make everything perfect. They go above and beyond to be of help. Unfortunately we had a whole week of rain which spoilt it ..."
    Mr Adrian Woolley, Stamford,

The Lodge was very warm and cosy! It was also immaculate, everything looked new. Would definitely recommend for young and older couples or friends!"
    Mrs Val Talbot, Kidderminster, Worcestershire
"We had a fantastic time at The Nook. Very cosy, warm, very comfortable and so quiet in the country, so peaceful. Pheasant's walking round the garden in the day and a multitude of different birds feeding from the window box. It was beautiful and so relaxing. The owner made us so welcome. We will definitely go back. "
    Mr Tom Halstead, Canberra, ACT

"We booked, the Nook as a part of our golden anniversary tour.It was everything we wanted and more.Mary and David were so welcoming, also Alfie and Millie the dogs,We arrived late after an awful drive, the traffic was really bad.Once we had unloaded,we were able to sit in the paeceful garden,in beautiful countryside in the evening sun.Bliss. Inside everything was immaculate and everything we hoped for. Do visit Arley village and seek out Tracey's cafe overlooking the river, you wont be disappointed. The surrounding area is great for visiting and we found the licals friendly and helpful. Thanks again David and Mary,we will be back."

"I was looking for somewhere quiet to write and refresh myself from the pressures of work and this was a perfect haven. Mary and David can't do enough to make you welcome. The property was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything had been thought of. I appreciated the microwave for breakfast porridge. There was only one fine day, alas, but I made the most of it and had all three meals outside in the beautifully tended garden, with views of the Wyre Forest and Clee Hills. Robins, thrushes, blackbirds, coal tits, magpies and rabbits on the lawn! A pheasant came up to the French windows one evening. There is a great supermarket ten minutes away by car and a pub, The Bellman's Cross, ten minutes away on foot - sensational French cuisine. I visited charming Georgian Bewdley, imposing Ludlow Castle and Ludlow market (fabulous local cheeses and asparagus. Bridgnorth is fascinating too, with its High Town and Low Town and the quaint funicular railway connecting them. I even made a foray into Wales: Knighton (Powys) is just within the border. Try a steak and Stilton sandwich at the George and Dragon. A very peaceful stay. I shall miss the beautiful dawns and sunsets."
    Mr Ian Thomson, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
"Everything had been thought of. The property was immaculately clean, tastefully designed, with every convenience. The Owners can't do enough to make sure your stay is comfortable. The garden is beautiful and home to birds and rabbits. A pheasant came to look at me through the French windows. The view, especially at dawn and sunset was breathtaking. On a couple of occasions it was possible to eat outside. I came for peace and quiet and luxuriated in it. Conveniently situated for charming Bewdley and impressive Ludlow. Loved the funicular railway at Bridgnorth and even made a foray into Wales. Ten minutes to an excellent supermarket by car and a great pub with exceptional food is only ten minutes away on foot. Highly recommended. A memorable week."
