Willow Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, idyllic location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, secure outdoor space for pets, and the peaceful environment. The hosts are commended for their friendliness and attentiveness. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests describe the property as 'spotlessly clean', 'clean and fresh', and 'extremely clean'. A few minor comments about specific cleaning details slightly affect the score, but the overall impression is of a very high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as 'idyllic', 'quiet', and 'beautiful', with a secure space for dogs and proximity to local amenities. The single-track road access and construction noise mentioned by a guest slightly impact the score.

Comfort is consistently highlighted, with guests finding the property 'comfortable' and 'homely'. Some guests mention issues with mattresses and seating, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as 'well-equipped' and 'having everything needed'. A few comments about specific maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are noted.

While many guests mention and appreciate the welcome gifts such as wine and homemade biscuits, as gifts are not consistently referenced across all reviews, it is not possible to accurately score this category. However, the gestures are noted as a thoughtful touch by those who received them.

As before lovely accommodation, owners on hand should you need anything, we didn’t either time we stayed, clean comfortable and nice to return to

It was well equipped and restful. The shower was amazing! The directions to the property need expanding as the ‘what three words’ description is incorrect. As we had read some of the previous feedback I knew to head on down the lane before finding the property. While it was cosy eventually I found it to be quite cold initially, hard floors (know the practicalities of this) and the heat not reaching all the property, I missed my slippers and could’ve benefitted from a blanket but there were no extra layers available in the property. We visited everything we had planned and found it to be an excellent base to do so, recommended if travelling with pets.

I know there is nothing you can do with the great British weather but it did mar our break. The accommodation was nice and warm but the double bedroom had a very lightweight duvet which was not adequate for the cold weather. A TV in the master bedroom would be of benefit. A nice location to end bye you to visit any other places of interest.
