Royal Wootton Bassett 3 miles. A cosy, energy-efficient detached timber lodge, set in a rural position in the hamlet of Bushton, within easy reach of the pretty towns and villages of Wiltshire and the southern Cotswolds. The Chalet is situated within the grounds of the owner’s home and stables, and is set solely on the ground floor with one bedroom with a comfy king-size bed and a luxury en-suite shower room. The open plan living area has a large sofa, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals when you’re not barbecuing on the patio. On summer evenings, open up the double doors from the living room that lead onto the patio and watch the ponies in the stables. This delightful lodge is an ideal base for couples to explore the Wiltshire and Cotswold countryside and the many splendid attractions in this wonderful area. Note: This property is next to Refs. 904115 and 1147423, together sleeping up to 6 guests.

Situated at the southern end of the Cotswold Hills, in rural northern Wiltshire and close to the border with Gloucestershire, the friendly market town of Royal Wootton Bassett can be found. The town is close to the historic Lydiard Park, Bowood and Longleat, with the ancient sites of Avebury and Stonehenge nearby. This area really makes an interesting touring centre at any time of the year.

    All the facilities you could need - oven, washing machine and an airer and iron/ ironing board. Nice shower room and comfortable bed. Ideal for a weeks stay to enable you to explore the local area. Very happy we chose the Log Cabin!

    This is an amazing little cabin that has everything you need in it. It was clean and well equipped in a lovely peaceful location. It was perfect for us and our dog. There was a lovely dog walk nearby which was handy for the evenings.
