There are Shepherds huts then there is The Hut at Hole Farm, this romantic getaway is located in the stunning Wiltshire countryside and offers a sumptuous bed with a wonderful ’picture window’ offering uninterrupted views across ancient unspoilt countryside.
The kitchen is modern but with a rustic charm. The breakfast bar for two also looks through the huts doors to the surrounding countryside. Unusually for a shepherds hut, there is also the modern convenience of a full shower room with large shower enclosure, WC and basin.
The Hut at Holes farm is perfect for a romantic break with its own enclosed garden and luxury electric hot tub that will be pre heated for 1 special night of your stay by request to the owner prior to arrival and that’s guaranteed to make any break even more special. A traditional BBQ, bistro table and chairs ensure you really can make the most of the location by cooking and eating ’al fresco’ too!
For those crisp wintry stays the hut is equipped with underfloor heating and a log stove making this a truly year round destination. If you would like to make your stay extra special or if you have something to celebrate, please enquire direct with the owner after making your booking, about adding a hamper full of local produce available for £40.
If you can bare to tear yourself away there is plenty to do within a few miles, from visiting the stunning Cathedral City of Salisbury or taking in the sights of the iconic Stonehenge or Avebury rings.
The owner will provide Prosecco and a breakfast hamper for mid week bookings between now and end March 2020.

It was absolutely lovely. Everything.The Hut is really cute, the location is fantastic, the views incredible and the hot tub a proper treat. We had a great time.We would also recommend the Georgina's hamper! It was super yummy!

So this is our first night here. I'm putting notes on my phone hoping that tomorrow will go just as well. This is the first night , me and my wife have been away alone since having kids 14 years ago. it is our 20th anniversary. We messaged the owners to say we were going to be late. They kindly left the hut lights on and had the hot tub nice and toasty. on the way here, we ordered from just eat (Everest Brasserie).They were on time and needed very little instructions on directions. Once we had the spot on food, we read the do's and don'ts for the hot hub. when we were finished, we put on the wee little fire. This little thing can kick out some serious heat! The next day we went to get a few bits and bobs, Tesco just 10 min away. For some reason it was very busy. not sure why as the following day it was normal traffic. Owners gave us more wood and we simply repeated the same lovely experience we had the day before. 10 out of 10.

We were recommending the hut to everyone within an hour of arrival! What a special place. We have very busy lives and were looking for peace and quiet and we found it. Pete and Georgie have done an amazing job with the hut. It’s comfortable, well thought out and full of storage. My husband is 6’ 2” and slept comfortably. The bed was larger than expected and very cosy indeed. With autumn fast arriving, we loved the under floor heating that took the chill off in the mornings. Everything in the hut was perfectly proportioned and easy to use. Pete made sure the wood fired hot tub was fired up before we arrived, which was lovely on our first night. The fire pit was special too. The sun sets at the bottom of the field in front of the hut, and is perfect for those evenings toasting marshmallows or champagne in the hot tub. Salisbury is a few minutes away by car and the pub is a few minutes walk away too. Perfect for as little, or as much, as you wish to do. We will be back, hopefully when the lambs are bouncing around in spring. Thank you Pete and Georgie, and Lola the dog too of course!
