Meg's Cottage is a well-regarded holiday rental in Tiddington, Warwickshire, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the proximity to Stratford Upon Avon and local amenities. The cottage offers a warm and cosy atmosphere with comfortable furnishings and beds. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues and intermittent Wi-Fi, but overall experiences were positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests found Meg's Cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned minor issues such as dust webs, a sticky kitchen floor, and leftover items from previous guests. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule, indicating a generally high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and convenience, being a short walk or drive from Stratford Upon Avon and local attractions. The availability of a river taxi and proximity to restaurants and shops contribute to the high rating.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy sofas and comfy beds. The peaceful environment adds to the overall comfort, although noise from other rooms and the plumbing system was noted by some.

While the cottage is generally well-equipped, several reviews mention a need for additional kitchenware, a more powerful shower, and better Wi-Fi. The presence of two en-suite rooms is appreciated, but some guests experienced issues with doors scraping on the floor and noisy plumbing.

Guests have mentioned welcome packs and the provision of basic necessities, which are seen as thoughtful touches. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It had everything you needed for a fantastic stay - like a home from home. The beds were comfy and beautiful bed linen led to blissful sleeps. The heating was brilliant especially as we had a couple of nights of -3 degrees!! The only issue was the door to the en suite in the double bedroom sticks on its runners when closing from the shower side.

Would have benefitted from a more powerful shower and take your own towels if you are on the larger size. .
