Snaptrip says

Owl Cottage in Warwickshire is highly praised for its homely feel, picturesque surroundings, and dog-friendly amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped cottage, the secure garden, and the added luxury of a hot tub. The location offers peacefulness and convenience with local pubs and scenic walks nearby. The attention to detail and welcoming touches, such as chocolates and tea, contribute to a delightful stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Owl Cottage to be clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned minor issues with cobwebs and dog hairs. The positive remarks far outweigh the occasional critique, indicating a generally high standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently described as peaceful and ideal for dog walking, with easy access to local pubs and attractions. The scenic views and proximity to the Marina and country parks contribute to its high rating, despite some concerns about walking on grass verges.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable and cosy, with a secure garden and relaxing hot tub. However, some guests noted the bedroom size as restrictive, particularly for those with mobility issues, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

The cottage is well-equipped and the hot tub is a highlight, but there are mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the shower temperature and electrical tripping. The presence of a secure garden and the provision of an electric car charging point are positives.

Guests often mention the thoughtful touches like welcome chocolates, tea, and milk. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was a lovely little cottage and so peaceful. We will 100% be back!

It was so idyllic with wonderful views across the countryside and felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The hot tub was amazing and the temperature of the water was perfect. There was an abundance of cooking utensils and absolutely everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, even a big teapot. We had a wonderful relaxing time and would highly recommend it to our friends and family. It was just what we needed and we would love to go again. Tracey & Jason

We only wish the weather was slightly better so we could use the hot tub more! Great visit to the local pub and Daventry country park too, the dog enjoyed his stay as much as we did! Thanks for a lovely weekend.
