The Old Bothy is a detached self catering holiday cottage for two adults in the grounds of a 17th century Grade II listed house. This compact single-storey stone cottage has been thoughtfully renovated and furnished to a high standard, providing a perfect setting for a romantic break.

This bijou bolt-hole is small but perfectly formed, enter into the cosy sitting room with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, wood panelling, exposed stone walls, a large Smart television with DVD player and a wood burning stove effect electric fire for added ambience in the evenings. Folding panelled doors lead you through to the very comfortable bedroom with a double bed and large window overlooking the pretty outside seating area. The modern en-suite bathroom is fully tiled from floor to ceiling and the beautiful fitted kitchen accommodates a dining area for two and a characterful stable door out to the pretty, south-facing courtyard garden space with garden furniture where you can enjoy lazy summer days or stargaze at night.

Situated in a very quiet conservation area of the 11th century village of Halford which contains many Grade II listed houses and a beautiful Saxon Church. The local garage carries a good range of provisions, however Halford is just a few minutes drive from the old market town of Shipston on Stour which is host to a wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants. Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon is close by with its Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

      the only reason why not 5 stars was the fridge had not been put on max so the milk was of , also we thought it would have been nice to of sorced some of the goods in the basket but we did not know where you purchased them from
