Babbacombe Bay House is an excellent example of a period home that has retained all of it’s original charm, thoughtfully coupled with all the advantages of modern technology. The living rooms are spacious and have wonderfully high ceilings, original fire places and coving, and the house is warm, welcoming and flooded with light. The lounge at the front of the house is as cosy as you could wish for with plush seating for all and a big TV for snuggling up in front of for the evening.

The open plan kitchen and diner make an outstanding focal point for family breakfasts and leads out into a charming and fully enclosed rear courtyard garden which enjoys a sunny aspect and is ideal for bbq’s, sipping wine and relaxing in the sun and traditionalsits will relish the fact that there is a dedicated dining room, perfect for special occasions or as an quite retreat for board games and puzzles.

The house is perfectly complemented by its excellent setting in Torquay’s arty quarter of Babbacombe. Your kids can run and play at Cary Park, which is pretty much opposite the property and also close by you can have a quick game of tennis, or try your hand at bowling. The village boasts many independent cafes, bistros and arts and crafts stores and is just 350yrs from the enchanting Babbacombe Downs area, with it’s cliff top walks and the Cary Arms where you can eat some beautiful food over expansive views of the sea. ...a lovely location.I personally thought it was an ideal place for a family holiday. We had three boat trips, lovely weather in a idyllic resort. The reason we came back to Torquay was because we spent our honeymoon it Torquay - forty years ago and celebrated our Ruby Wedding last June 2015. Thank you Submitted by Mrs Prout on 15/12/2015

...high standard and provides its visitors with everything they could possibly need. It was very clean with lovely bedding and towels. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Ideally situated in Babbacome with shops and pubs/eateries on the doorstep. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Submitted by Joanne on 05/10/2015

...fabulous, didn't have to use the car- everything within walking distance ( although some beach routes not recommended for elderly or infirm ) but to get up & down to Oddicombe Bay you can get the cliff railway. Area is very unspoilt and clean - great selection of restaurants / pubs. We were so lucky to see seals at Babbacombe Bay nearly everyday. Will be returning for sure . Submitted by Jo on 02/09/2015
