The property is in a peaceful location yet offers easy access to Torquay Harbour, with its restaurants, cafés and shops, the Princess Theatre, and the popular Fleet Walk Shopping Centre. You will find numerous restaurants and bars on Torwood Street and around the inner harbour plus upmarket restaurant, The Orange Tree, is just a 1 minute walk away on Parkhill Road. Living Coasts, Torquays coastal zoo, is also just a 2 minute walk away.
The beaches at Torre Abbey Sands and Meadfoot are both within walking distance, as is the Torquay stretch of the South West coast path, which leads to Shaldon. Other nearby attractions are Babbacombe Model Village, Kents Cavern and Bygones.

Short breaks may be accepted by prior arrangement, as long as they fall within a Saturday - Saturday period

...years in various properties. They have all been of an exceptionally high standard and 5 Torwood Gables was excellent. The location is brilliant, only a two minute walk to the harbour. The property was a good size for the two of us and it had all the comforts of home. It is well equipped and laid out and we liked it so much we are going to book it again for next year. ...experience and follow up customer service was excellent. The cottage itself was ideal, just as the description on the site which is NOT common these days. The location was first class and we will be back. Disappointed about the lack of cleaning materials actually left on site during our visit, but apart from that cannot praise highly enough! Thank you.
