Very comfortable apartment with terrific views by night and day. Two beaches within a few minutes walk (though one is for dogs) and a really good playground and grass play area for toddlers under your window. Also very well situated with two little beach cafes, a local store and three restaurants within minutes. So if you are looking for somewhere where a small child can be amused, this was perfect. Only a short walk to Paignton's Esplanade and town centre if you want cinema, shopping, and a large Morrisons and Paignton Zoo (which is excellent) are also a very short drive away. Ideally placed for day trips by steam train - great to see and hear the train's distant whistle - ferry from the harbour round the corner, and throughout Torbay by car. We had a really good break, and it was nice to be able to do so much on foot, without using the car, with our child, as it is all laid out below your windows.
