Paignton town centre is just a short drive away where you will find a myriad of facilities including a large selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, the multiplex cinema, Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark and Torbay Leisure Centre. Other local attractions include Pitch & Putt, Paignton Zoo, boat trips, fishing trips and of course the beach and Pier.

The popular seaside town of Torquay is also within easy reach, where you can explore many attractions including Living Coasts coastal zoo and the famous Babbacombe Model Village.

    ...and a short drive from Torquay, Brixham, Darthmouth, Dartington and the National Trust properties of Coleton Fishacre and Greenway. The house was clean enough and bedding and towels were changed weekly; however, although this was appreciated, it was disappointing as, when booking, we were told that, as we were there for 3 weeks, it would be cleaned at the end of each week. The garden was not tended during the 3 weeks we were there until the day before we left, although the Welcome booklet says it was done weekly, and the grass was overgrown and had dog poo in it, which was rather off-putting. Overall, despite the disappointments, we liked the house very much and hope to stay there again and we had a very nice holiday. Submitted by Audrey on 01/10/2016

    ...Devon, with the above property playing an integral part. Situated in a small cul-de-sac on a nice estate, the property is ideally situated to visit all the attractions Torbay has to offer. Paignton, Brixham, Torquay and Dartmouth can all be reached in under a 30 min drive. The property is well maintained and as advertised, has every amenity you could wish for. We were really impressed with how spotlessly clean the house was and the welcome basket of tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc... was much appreciated after our long journey from Yorkshire. We were blessed with fine weather, but if you're not so fortunate and end up spending more time in doors, being furnished and equipped to such a high standard, means a better home base would be difficult to find.
