We had a wonderful week in Brixham and we were extremely lucky with the weather. The accommodation was very good on the whole, however, the car space was very very small and awkward which we didn't find out until arranging the key pick up a couple of days before the start of the holiday. The key holder let us know and agreed with me that it should be made plain on the website so people can decide then whether it is suitable for them. We were fortunate to own a smaller car and though it was a nuisance and very tight we changed to this one so could just squeeze in. Had we not known we would have turned up in a Land Rover Discovery and would have not been able to park. However we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation and it's position was great, very easy walking around town. Will hopefully return before too long.

We have just spent a week in this property and loved every moment. The house was so homely and close to the town, which is just what we need with two children. The property was very clean and we had a lovely welcome from Bob when we arrived and the shortbread was very welcome after our 4.30am start from Essex. We look forward to staying again soon

Apters Hill House is a lovely, comfortable, light, bright house, well furnished and decorated! It has parking for a small car and is located a minute's walk to Brixham's beautiful harbour, restaurants, shops and bus station! Whenever we stay in Brixham we never use the car as the bus service is so good you can go to Torquay, Dartmouth, Paignton and not have to worry about finding parking when you get anywhere! You can get a ferry also from the harbour most of the year to a lot of nice places. I would highly recommend this house and Brixham as a place to stay and visit.
