About this property

A Victorian town house set on the hillside above Brixham harbourA Victorian town house set on the hillside above Brixham harbour

A four bedroom, Victorian bay fronted house set on the hillside above Brixham harbour with views across the inner harbour and out to sea.

Concha Azul offers a high standard of furnishing throughout, boasting views over Brixham and glimpses of the sea. Externally, this property benefits from a small terrace to the front and a decking area to the rear, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a barbecue after a long day exploring the attractions of Brixham.

The Brixham harbourside is flanked by a selection of family run restaurants offering fresh fish and the finest of local produce.  For a more casual sample of the local catch, head to one of the harbourside shops offering oysters and fresh shellfish, or for the less adventurous, a hearty portion of fish and chips.

From the harbour, a short walk along the coastal path leads to a selection of beaches and coves, as well as the ever popular seawater swimming pool at Shoalstone.

Those looking to entertain the family should head to Paignton, home to a fine selection of attractions including Paignton Zoo, the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway and Quaywest waterpark.

...the attic bedroom had low beams which can be an issue if you are tall. The en-suite off the attic bedroom could do with a couple of small repairs ie toilet roll holder does not hold the roll and the towel ring was loose. The handle on the wardrobe door was missing and the handle came off the other door, ( attic bedroom ). The house was nicely decorated and very clean. Steps/ stairs could be an issue. The house is only about a 5 minute walk out of Brixham but this does include numerous steps or steep slopes to encounter to get back to the house. I would not recommend for anyone elderly or not good at walking. Submitted by Beverley on 03/10/2016

...equipped. Loved every minute, close to the harbour and shops so no need for a car! Would definitely go back. Submitted by Antony on 15/08/2016
