About this property

A wonderfully furnished holiday home in the popular village of Reydon, with all the ingredients a family of 4 could need for a holiday on the coast.

Escape to a hideaway… this pretty brick built two bedroom property is perfect. The Headmaster’s House is finished to a very high standard and is close to the popular Coastal town of Southwold.

Step inside and the property is beautifully furnished throughout with much attention to detail. This tardis like house offers versatile accommodation with plenty of room for 4. The open plan living room is cosy and light with a couple of soft sofas to relax on and watch the Smart TV. The well equipped kitchen comes complete with a dishwasher and washing machine and everything you need to cook up your favourite dishes. There’s a ground floor bedroom and shower room and a master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor offering flexible living for two couples or a family.

Reydon is a pretty village 1 mile north-west of Southwold and 2.5 miles south-east of Wangford so there are plenty of amenities just a short drive away. You can in fact walk to the pretty beach huts along Southwold beach in just 20 minutes. The perfect excuse to stop off for a coffee and cake and indulge in a little retail therapy. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.

Headmaster’s House is a great option for a family or two couples looking to escape to the Suffolk Coast - highly recommended and excellent value. Our advice? Book early!

The house was very clean and the rooms were really good sized for my family of four. The two bathrooms were very handy. The bed linen was fresh and crisp and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. There was a little desk and chair upstairs which was good for reading, my son enjoyed sitting there to look at his laptop and handy for drying my hair as there is a big mirror on the wall! The garden was pretty, and even though it is to the front of the property it has well established shrubs and lavender that made it private from the road, and a nice little bistro set to enjoy the fresh air. Private parking right to the front of the house which was great, and a must for my husband. A short drive from southwold beach (5 mins). We had an amazing stay at The Headmasters House and hope to return next year. Thank you for having us

We have just returned from four delightful nights in your property. I wanted to write to you personally to say how impressed we were with the beautiful layout and how well equipped the property was. We love the area and enjoyed walking in to Southwold and along the coast to Walberswick. I hope we may be able to repeat the stay next year.
