A fabulous family-friendly holiday home set in a newer development of houses in the village of Reydon. Long Summers House, an end of terrace cottage located towards the end of this quiet road and a twenty minute walk brings you into the seaside town of Southwold. 

Step inside this proud holiday home and you’ll find plenty of areas for relaxing in. The ground floor snug room is the perfect hideaway with its cosy sofa and bookcase stocked with plenty of good reads. This room can be utilised as part of the kitchen diner with fabulous internal French doors which open up to make the space incredibly social. The modern kitchen is of a good size with all self-catering necessities provided for. The dining table and chairs is plenty big enough for everyone to sit together. A handy cloakroom also resides on the ground floor.

Head up the carpeted stairs to the first floor where guests can find the main sitting room. This room is decorated in neutral colours with splashes of colour which adds to the personality of the house. Guests can curl up on the sofa and watch television or to take the chill off winter breaks pop on the gas fire for extra warmth and cosiness. The first king size bedroom is just around the corner as well as a family bathroom complete with bath and over-bath shower.

Up another floor and you’ll find the remaining three bedrooms with sloping ceilings yet plenty of space. The second king size room acts as the master having the added benefit of its own En-Suite facility and there’s a further twin bedded room and single bedroom – ensuring plenty of flexibility for all age groups.

Long Summers House really has it all – there’s a lovely rear garden which is fully fenced and a great size for dogs to roam. A barbecue and garden furniture are supplied for al-fresco dining in the summer season. 

This modern holiday home is full of advantages being close to open countryside where there are numerous walks and cycle rides to explore and enjoy and in this location you’re only a three minute walk from the local pub! Shop: 500 yards Pub: 500 yards.

Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of long ago used to tie up. All properties therefore have easy access to beaches and town centre amenities by road and various footpaths. Reydon boasts two well-stocked village stores, as well as the Randolph Hotel which has an excellent restaurant and good locals' bar.
