Fantastic , but not very good for children

We booked this particular place as we were visiting family in the area. The park itself is clean and tidy and very pleasant. My only gripe with it is the swimming pool is used for swimming clubs so isn't always available, however there is no mention of this anywhere on arrival or in the welcome pack do you turn up expecting to have full access to be turned away. That was my only gripe.

I have stayed at the site before, love the location, so many different things close-by from Africa Live, to Carlton Marshes, the tram museum, as well as seaside and Pleasure Wood Hills. Something for everyone. Site is clean, well maintained and well presented and facilities are good, didn't use the pool this time but plenty of choices and the food is fresh and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

One settee was very tired - the padding on the wooden frame had worn thin making it uncomfortable. Very strong smell of smoke in the lounge. One heater in one of the bedrooms wasn't working. But the bungalow was clean as always.

We booked this holiday village during half term, while we had planned things to do during our stay I found the lack of things to do for the kids in the holiday village non existent, the Wi-Fi should be free. We paid 12.50 for 4 days and the service was very intermittent. The restaurant on site was over priced.
