A significant number of light bulbs are out, we actually had to move light bulbs around the house as an upstairs room had none that worked at all. Feedback from reviews years ago say the same thing; shame nothing has been done about that. The kitchen was not adequately stocked either - 1 wine glass for 7 people is ridiculous. All the plates, bowls, cutlery and glasses are mix matched and very old. Also, this is fully self catering, as in bring dishcloths, bin bags, loo roll, washing up liquid. This caught us out as I am used to these basics being provided. It would be good to have been informed about this as there isn't a local shop to pick these up. That being said, the layout of the house is great, really sociable and spacious. The location is stunning - beautiful quiet lanes for cycling and great beaches and towns nearby. The house whilst clean, needs a lot of attention and updating but has the potential to be really amazing if the effort is put in.

Possibly could have had more information on how to reach the property, which was in the middle of nowhere, which in itself was not a problem, but those Suffolk lanes are quite fiddly. There were some issues with the lighting, missing bulbs and not very strong for reading etc. It would be nice to have a freezer in the property itself, and not outside in a separate room. Good information on places to visit. The downstairs bathroom could do with some repairs (loo roll holder, shower head). In the kitchen it would have been useful to have a few more bowls and possibly cutlery. Great care was needed in using the spiral staircase, especially in transporting suitcases up and down. Generally, however, we (four fairly elderly ladies) were extremely happy with our choice of holiday venue.

It was situated in a wonderful location. I would return. Just a few items to rectify to make the place brilliant: -The shower downstairs didn't work. -The sagging cloth sofa was so uncomfortable that you couldn't sit on it. -The 2 slice cheap toaster was inadequate. Bread had to be cut in half to toast. -Several lights didn't work. Others have mentioned all these points but nothing has been done. Also the comment book appeared to be hidden amongst the leaflets in the drawer. I do recommend that there is a separate pad for reporting items to be rectified.
