The aptly named The Lily Pad is the perfect retreat for couples looking to relax and enjoy the very best the Suffolk Coast has to offer. Overlooking Thorpeness Meare within walking distance of the beach and the fabulous Dolphin Pub and just a short drive from the shops and eateries of Aldeburgh The Lily Pad studio apartment is not surprisingly one of our most popular properties.

Unfortunately due to Health and Safety legislation this property is not permitted to allow children due to its proximity to open water we apologies for any inconvience this may cause.

Outside: Bi-fold glass doors open onto a terrace area with rattan table and chairs perfect for enjoying the beautiful views of the meare. Use of a boat and the private jetty are by prior arrangement with the owners who live next door. An evening row when everyone has gone home and you have a private 60 acre lake to yourself to explore making this the perfect place to be. Linen and WiFi are included in the rental price. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed to stay at The Lily Pad. We were enchanted from the moment we stepped inside and looked out over the garden at the Meare. We have had such a lovely stay - rowing on the Meare golf and walks from the door .
