Had a great holiday, helped by 2 weeks of un-British-like sunny weather! The property could probably do with a bit of a spruce up, in terms of décor and appliances, but this was reflected in the price and didn't affect the holiday at all. There was some very noisy plumbing at times, when the toilet was flushed or when the shower was used and the television reception was lost in the 2nd week, but this didn't detract from the holiday at all. The mattress on one bed wasn't great (in the twin bedroom with the sky-light). The memory foam made it feel like the bed was sloping to one side.

Very comfortable property with plenty of room for six people. The kitchen is well equipped and has a good layout. The village is lovely with some good walks and a pleasant pub opposite the cottage. As well as one parking space it was never difficult to find a space for the second car on the road.
