Church View provides a wonderful retreat for a short break or a longer stay in the tranquil village of Bruisyard which can be traced back to the Domesday Book. The cottage, which is beautifully furnished is warm and homely with a lovely wood burning stove providing a cosy sitting room at the front of the property and the kitchen with dining space to the rear. The stairs off the kitchen lead to two bedrooms on the first floor along with the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The third bedroom is in the eaves with exposed beams and a single bed. Both of the beds on the first floor can be split into single beds if required.

There is a small garden area to the front of the property with a larger enclosed garden to the rear that leads to a sun-trap terrace complete with chairs and a table. A lovely place to enjoy the sunshine with your favourite drink. The owners are happy for one four legged friend to accompany you on your holiday and there are numerous walks and footpaths leading from the village to explore the local countryside without having to go further afield.

Church View is a delightful, cosy cottage with its own pretty, enclosed garden to the rear and a 4-Star Visit England assessment.

Ground Floor:

Entrance

On entering the cottage, there is a small hallway with ample space for coats and boots.

Sitting room

The hallway leads into the bright and airy sitting room with a four-seater sofa and matching foot stool, a traditional monk’s settle and antique chair, Smart television, Swedish wood burning stove and electric heater. Additional seating is also available by way of a large bean bag stored in the attic room. The bookcase contains books and games for all ages.

Kitchen

A modern, shaker style country kitchen with electric oven and hob, built-in fridge freezer, microwave, integral dishwasher, washer dryer and seating for up to five around a lovely, distressed, pine kitchen table.

First Floor:

Master bedroom

The spacious master bedroom offers a fabulous view as well as a king-size zip and link bed. This bed can be made up of two single beds on request.

Second bedroom

Another beautifully decorated and versatile bedroom with zip and link king-size bed, overlooking the garden to the rear of the house.

Family bathroom

Modern white bathroom suite with bath and mixer tap shower, wash basin and WC and electric heater.

Second Floor:

Bedroom three

A steep, paddle staircase leads up to a cosy attic room with a single bed under the eaves. A velux window offers plenty of natural light.

Outside:

There is a small garden to the front with lovely countryside views and a pretty, enclosed, rear garden with shrubs, lawn & barbecue area - perfect for a relaxing glass of wine or two in the warmer months.

One allocated parking space at the front of the cottage. Additional unallocated parking is available on the opposite side of the quiet lane.
