Tucked away in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Fairfield really is the ultimate luxurious retreat. Beautiful both inside and out, Fairfield has been refurbished with time, care and love. The ground floor living area has a gorgeous oak floor running throughout, with windows showing views of the colourful landscaped garden and rolling fields beyond. The kitchen too has hand-built bespoke units complete with oak worktops and limestone flooring with all the equipment and tech that a 21st century guest could ever desire; including washer/dryer and dishwasher. What's more, on arrival, enjoy a welcome pack of tea, coffee and cake - a real way to start the holiday! (Free range eggs from the owners chickens also available for purchase).

Upstairs, the high quality continues, with both bedrooms having a generous square footage and stunning framed views of the garden/surrounding countryside. Both also benefit from an en-suite bathroom (both with underfloor heating), with the master king bedroom too having a private balcony; perfect for watching the sun set in the evenings...

Ideal for: Families, couples or friends looking to explore the delightful Suffolk countryside and coast. The owners have gone out of their way to make sure everything you could possibly need is provided. For families, a selection of books, dvd's, board games and children's toys are provided for when the weather is not as agreeable. If you fancy getting out and about, also provided are garden games, buckets and spades, fishing nets, a small sailing boat for Aldeburgh boating lake and a cool box for an all important picnic! Equally; if you're looking for a 'child-free' retreat, these items are sympathetically tucked away.

Fairfield also makes ideal accommodation for guests attending weddings at nearby Bruisyard Hall or Brick Kiln Barn - there's plenty of space to get ready without getting in anybody's way.

Sleeps: 4 in 1 king and 1 twin.

Dogs: Sorry, no pets allowed.

Parking: Off-street parking for up to 2 cars.

Exploring: Fairfield is in an ideal location for a number of activities. The surrounding countryside makes for picturesque walking or cycling routes; whilst keen photographers will enjoy capturing the rich variety of bird and plant life. Just a short drive down the road is Framlingham, made famous by Ed Sheeran's 'Castle on the Hill' single; the market town has a handful of independent shops, cafes and pubs, in addition to the stunning castle.

Bruisyard itself also has a bustling community atmosphere. The stunning church is just a short walk from Fairfield, and the village hall is known for holding a number of events, including a 'Pub Night' every Wednesday; great fun!

We have enjoyed our first visit to Suffolk. Unfortunately too showery to make use of your beautiful garden. The house is in a lovely peaceful location. Thanks for the wine and cake.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely cottage and gardens. Enjoyed the beaches at Dunwich and Walberswick and visiting Snape Maltings. For eating out would recommend Flora Tearooms at Dunwich beach and Juniper Barn Cafe at Rendham. Thanks for a lovely holiday - and or the delicious cake on arrival - very welcome offer after a long journey!

Thank you so much for a beautiful place to stay! The children loved your garden and all the toys and the chickens. We have really enjoyed going to the beach at Southwold and boating at Thorpeness.
