Freston is a charming little village just a few miles south of Ipswich, next to the River Orwell.  The area is home to the Suffolk Food Hall (run by the same family), which is a nationally recognised farm shop and restaurant selling the best of Suffolk.  Only a few miles away is Jimmy's Farm made famous by the BBC, which is a great attraction for all the family. There are several private roads around the farm, along with a network of guided footpaths and cycle paths to explore.  Enjoy the river by land or boat and savour a well-earned drink at the Butt and Oyster pub in Pin Mill.  Alton Water recreational facilities are also within cycling distance.
