Snaptrip says

Stallington Hall Farm is consistently praised for its cosy, comfortable atmosphere and well-equipped kitchen. The hot tub is a popular feature, although its location and restrictions have been noted. The property's cleanliness and secure garden are highlights, particularly for dog owners. Some guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance and comfort, but overall experiences were very positive, with the hosts receiving commendations for their helpfulness.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about dust and cobwebs. The overall impression is of a high standard of cleanliness.

The property is appreciated for its countryside setting and proximity to local attractions, though some guests noted the need for a car to access the National Park and local amenities.

The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, with a few remarks about the beds being less comfortable than desired. The cosy fire and secure garden added to the comfort level for many.

While the hot tub, kitchen equipment, and secure parking are highly praised, there are mixed feelings about the hot tub's location and some maintenance issues like a non-working towel rail and loose fixtures. Due to the lack of consistent feedback across all facilities, a definitive score cannot be provided.

There are mentions of a warm welcome and attention to detail by the hosts, but no specific references to gifts or special touches that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be assigned.

: ( And so the Fab week began. The cottage was absolutely lovely, from the roaring fire to the well equipped kitchen to the bed and beyond into the hot tub : ) a big family favourite. Great surroundings, and not far to drive anywhere for good dog walker and supplier of the food and liquid variety : ) Thank you again, The Poutney's

We were here when the temperature was below freezing all week. The path to the front door was old, well worn and shiny brick. It was covered in ice all week and not once was salt/grit put onto it. The bathroom is large and there was only one working radiator to warm it, which it only just did. The towel rail didn't work at all. The kitchen had dust and cobwebs in a few areas. We appreciate that the property is grade 2 listed but some of the windows are in need of replacing as they did let a lot of draughts through. When you pay a £100 supplement to use the hot tub it is not very fair for the owner to complain that the water temperature had been increased or for a restriction to be put on certain functions of the tub. If the owners are concerned about their electricity bills perhaps they shouldn't be allowing usage during winter months. Clearer instruction should also be given regarding recycling waste bins, e.g. when they should be put out rather than the owner walking through to the kitchen just before patrons are about to eat and female guests are in nightwear. A welcome pack should also be considered for guests, including milk and small loaf of bread perhaps, to make people feel welcomed. Maybe even some locally produced goods such as cakes, scones, jams etc could be left to promote the area. There are a number of cables and wires that should be tidied up and made safe behind the TV as they are currently a trip hazard. The hot tap in the upstairs toilet needs fixing as it does not turn on. And the toilet seat was loose. The cottage itself is nice enough, but more care and attention needs to be taken regarding all of the above. Unfortunately, we couldn't and wouldn't recommend the property.
