It was also immaculately clean. It has (nearly) everything needed for a comfortable stay and the courtyard is an added bonus. I didn't notice road noise and there are some lovely walks, nearby. I had a lovely stay, overall and make the following observations which would have made my stay perfect. - I banged my head, twice (and I'm only 5'4"): once on the beam above the bed and once on the stair post which extends into the kitchen area below. There is very little storage space for food (maybe re-jig the contents of the cupboard above the sink), hence me using the shelf below the stairwell then banging my head when backing out of the space. Maybe a 'mind your head' warning could be displayed, or a warning added to the handbook. -There is no way to over-ride the heating (that I could find) - it became quite chilly at times due to the stone flooring and construction. - Check-out time of 9am is also not very convenient for guests (well, me), given that check-in is not until 4pm. To me being on holiday shouldn't mean an early start, tidying up and a rush to vacate on your final day. 10am would be much more civilised.

Also being on a farm would have been nice to be able to take your dog for a walk in the field instead of a slip road on the side of a busy road but over all would stay again
