Street 7 miles. Glastonbury 9.2 miles. Pristine gardens conceal a solar heated plunge pool (available 1st May until August by prior arrangement with the owner). The small, rural village of Edington is situated between Glastonbury and Bridgwater, and is an excellent base for exploring this historic and beautiful part of England. The Quantocks, the Mendips, Wookey Hole and the impressive Cheddar Gorge are all within easy reach. The Granary is an attractive holiday cottage in the grounds of the owner's' extensive home. Edington is situated 15 minutes West of world renowned Glastonbury. Inside, the living space is open plan, with lofty ceilings, feature stone walls and glazed doors which look over the garden. From the neat kitchen, steep stairs lead to the bright and airy bedroom on the mezzanine where there is a super king size bed and a single bed which can be screened. The Granary is a Grade 2 listed late 18 century modernised building constructed of Blue Lias stone and lime mortar. During renovation some of the walls were plastered internally with traditional lime and horse hair render according to the requirements of Historic Buildings.

Small bathroom and steep stairs but accommodation was very cosy. Lovely garden. Swimming pool but not able to use because of the time of year we chose to go. Enjoyable holiday

It is a very quiet cottage in a picturesque setting. It is comfortable and appears to have everything you would consider needing for a stay. The car parking area is large and secure, shared with the adjacent house where the owners live. Since the photos were taken there is a new wood burning stove that looks more than adequate to warm the cottage on the coldest day. There are lots of brochures and guides available for places both near and far, to help you plan activities whilst you stay in the area. If you don't wish to make use of the cooking facilities, there are plenty of nice pubs/restaurants within a short drive and one with character that would be well worth visiting a short walk away (less than half-mile). Thoroughly recommended! I'd be more than happy to stay here again
