A series of quaint towns and villages abound the local area, all with their own charming pubs and shops to enjoy, the county town of Dorchester is most certainly worth a walk around. For a day by the sea, the gorgeous coastline is also close by, hosting popular spots such as Weymouth, West Bay and Lyme Regis which sit along the South West Coast Path. Escape from reality at this secluded rural getaway.

Area surrounding is stunning would recommend the mouse house as a base for visiting all around this part of Dorset .

Easy distances from every important site in the County. The Mouse House is a haven of tranquility after some hectic visiting. Furnished with care and of very high standard. Our only criticism was the choice of mattress density, perhaps a good choice had we been 20-30 years younger. The kitchenette was well appointed and the shower was perfect and easy to operate. Overall a wonderful experience that enhanced our holiday experience.
