We were kept nice and warm by the Aga. Stunning views of the river from bedroom and lounge windows. Spent time watching abundant bird life through binoculars. Great for dogs with enclosed garden sloping down to river. Straight out of the cottage on to the river bank so instant dog walks with beautiful views of the Tamar. Nice to walk along the shore to the boatyard for coffee and snacks - dogs welcomed. Nice meals in pub close by with music and quiz events - plenty going on in area but also very comfortable and warm inside with just watching the river views.

The location is stunning and the perfect spot for watching the fabulous array of birds on the estuary. Fiona was super helpful and communicative and was on hand for any queries we had. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. All in all a lovely stay in a wonderful part of the world.

Clamoak Cottage affords such comfort and warmth that whole days could be spent watching the many birds visiting the beautiful gardens and those on the river. It was lovely to visit in December as the whole cottage was decorated for the festive season which added to the magic. Fiona is a perfect host and supplied so much information regarding the surrounding area and places to visit. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a unique location and to experience the sights and sounds of the tidal estuary.
