Another fabulous stay at Owl House. It has been at least 12 years since we were last here on a holiday which had to be cut short due to a family crisis (we didn’t have to make one night before having to leave). So glad to be back and find that Owl House has not changed at all. It’s our home from home and the holiday let we judge all others by. The peace and tranquility we find here has made us feel so relaxed.Beautiful walks. Beautiful countryside. Beautiful property. We are sad to leave and return to reality, but will be sure to return and it won’t take 12 years next time.

Another great rural retreat cottage. We have been extremely comfortable here and have enjoyed this spot which is quiet but not far from anywhere. Lovely trips to Fowey, Padstow, Rock, Wadebridge and the Bedruthan Steps. All lovely with the exception of Port Isaac – bit of a disappointment – Port Gaverne along the road more pleasant.Had super Sunday lunch at the Quarryman, Edmonton. Very efficiently run and friendly and a great meal (best to book it was busy). Have really loved Cornwall in this quieter season – it’s still pretty busy at the honey pot locations. Also dropped into Lostwithiel – lovely – even got some Christmas shopping done!Thank you for the use of this sweet cottage.

Thank you for a lovely holiday in a very comfortable cottage. We were blessed with good weather for October and managed trips to some of our favourite haunts – Fowey, Truro, Lanhydrock and Godolphin Gardens. Also new places like the Camel Trail to Padstow (and back) and the wonderful gardens at Trebah. Very peaceful but we did enjoy listening the screech owls at night. Finished with an excellent lunch at St Petrock Hotel in Padstow – to set us up for long Scottish winter.
