About this property

Hideaway is a beautiful and unique holiday home in the small hamlet of Bossiney, on Cornwall's stunning north coast. Within a short walk are the historic village of Tintagel and the clifftop Coast Path leading to the sheltered sandy cove of Bossiney Haven. This excellent, semi-detached converted barn has an enclosed garden with many family friendly facilities, including a children's fort with swings, slide and sandpit. From here you can watch the horses being trained in owners' stables, which are in the grounds. Inside, Hideaway is finished to an exceptional standard throughout featuring, marble and Travertine tiled floors, underfloor heating, high raftered ceilings, and a fabulous open plan living area with a bespoke kitchen. There are two stylish bedrooms, the master double which has an en-suite shower room and a twin. The superb family bathroom has marble tiled floors, a granite sink, walk-in shower and double-ended bath. The north coast of Cornwall is a magical place to visit with spectacular scenery and glorious beaches; for that special occasion, romantic break or family holiday, Hideaway is the perfect choice.

Tintagel, home of King Arthur’s Castle, is a village on the Cornish coast. The area is dominated by sea, rocky coves and scenery. Beaches,including Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, surfing is the main attraction. Tintagel has pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust). The SW Coast Path passes through the village and winds its way along the cliffs and to the water through countryside. A great starting point for exploring the Cornwall’s northern coastline. Note: outside play area has change and now only has a slide and swing.

    The owners live next door and were very helpful with any questions or problems. It is well equipped to make self catering easy. The sofas are a bit 'tired' but overall it is the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in and highly recommend it.

    It is absolutely beautiful and extremely well equipped. It has everything you need and much much more, stunning interior, beautiful bathrooms and it’s spotless! Really lovely welcome from the owners with fresh scones, jam and cream. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it.
