3 Rose Terrace in St Merryn is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, modern decor, and thoughtful touches like Netflix and Prime. The property's proximity to shops, pubs, and beaches makes it an ideal base for exploring North Cornwall. While one review mentioned a smell and the need to clean utensils, this appears to be an isolated incident in an otherwise spotless record.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests noting the high standard of cleanliness. One isolated complaint about a smell and dirty utensils slightly impacts the score.
The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with easy access to local amenities and beaches. The central position in St Merryn is a clear advantage for guests.
Many reviews mention the property's comfort, including comfortable beds and a homely feel. The spaciousness and quiet environment contribute to a comfortable stay.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and inclusion of internet and entertainment subscriptions. The dual use of the garden as a parking space was not clear to some, slightly lowering the score.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful extras such as body boards, buckets, spades, and the provision of essentials like dishwasher tablets. While gifts are not guaranteed, the attention to detail enhances the experience.

Mrs Miller
This cottage is in a perfect location in St Merryn close to the bakers and shop and the 7 bays. The cottage is well laid out and spacious for what looks like quite a small property on the outside. The showers are powerful which is welcome after a day on the beach! We have booked a week on this cottage every year for the last 10 years. My son is autistic and booking the same place has really helped him- it’s felt like a home away from home not it’s a rental to us. However, we have noticed over the last couple of years that some of the facilities would benefit from being maintained better or replaced. The kettle is broken, the interior of the fridge is split and cracked and I those areas not as clean as it should be. The chopping boards need replacing and some more pots and pans adding to the existing ones. The sofa in the front room really needs to be replaced as this is now very saggy and a bit tired looking. Small tweaks and a bit of maintenance would restore this cottage to being amazing again! We would still book again, although we have decided not to next year. We hope that these issues are addressed before we book again.

The house is spacious for a 3 bed house and in a good location in the heart of St Merryn - easy access to shops such as the bakery and the local pubs. Only a short drive to various beaches. The back garden doubles up as the driveway which isn’t necessarily clear from the property description.
Mrs Harris
We have stayed in Rose Terrace before but not in this particular house. I think it must have been recently redecorated as it was spotless and it was so nice to have been left some dishwasher tablets etc. There was everything you could wish for including a torch and plasters! Very quiet and comfortable bed. Lovely to have Netflix and Prime too.
