Guests say

Fishermans Cottage in St Ives is a cosy and beautifully decorated property, praised for its proximity to beaches, shops, and local ambience. Guests enjoyed the local coffee and the welcoming atmosphere, feeling integrated into the community. While some found the location vibrant, others noted noise from nearby establishments and early refuse collections. A welcome pack added a thoughtful touch.

The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. While some guests found it lovely and clean, others reported dampness and mould in the shower upon arrival, which impacts the score.

The location is appreciated for its closeness to the beach and town, offering a true St Ives experience. However, noise from local bars and traffic was a concern for some, slightly reducing the score.

Guests found the bedrooms lovely and the cottage cosy. However, issues with a bed on wheels and light pollution from streetlights affected the comfort level for some.

Facilities like the kitchen and washing machine were mentioned positively, but specific references to maintenance issues like the buzzing cable box and a non-working electric fire suggest some areas need attention. Not enough information is provided to score this category accurately.

The welcome pack was a highlight for guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided with every stay.

Great location, Barnoon car park within walking distance, albeit steep steps but worth it just for the view.Left the car and walked most places.St Ives is well worth visiting to walk the old cobbled streets and take in the ambience of the town

Absolutely beautiful cottage and in a great location for the beach and St Ives town. The Wine bar was not an issue in November. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Only criticism was that the bed in the large bedroom was on wheels and moved every time we moved. The large bedroom was also very light during the night due to streetlights outside, it would benefit some blackout blinds. Overall a lovely stay and would stay again.
