Perfectly situated in Downalong, the oldest part of St Ives, and historically occupied by Fishermen, this cottage is the perfect base to explore Cornwall. The charismatic town of St Ives is postcard perfect with its cobbled streets, excellent beaches, art galleries, independent shops and a stunning harbour. Hire a paddleboard, surfboard or kayak or simply relax in the sun. As if this weren't enough, you can take a boat trip to Seal Island just 3.5 miles west or hop on the train and enjoy the breathtaking views between St Erth and St Ives. Walkers will enjoy rambling along The South West Coast path which runs through St Ives towards Lands End. Just under 10 miles south you can explore Penzance and Marazion, the home of iconic St Michaels Mount. Enter the cottage through the hallway and into the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has everything you need, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and there is seating for six around the table to enjoy meals together. Featuring rustic exposed stonework, the living area is bright and tastefully designed with comfortable seating around the TV and wood burner, perfect for a cosy evening in after a day at the beach. Heading back through the kitchen and up the cottage style staircase, you will find the main double bedroom with a TV. There is a further bunk bedroom with two 2'6 singles, perfect for the little ones, and just off the landing is a bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. To complete the accommodation on the second floor is a double attic room. There is no outside space, however, there are beaches, shops and restaurants all within 100 metres.
