On the ground floor you’ll find both bedrooms - a double with sea views and a twin - plus a family bathroom. Head up to the first floor and the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a fabulous space which is full of light. Cook up all kinds of delicious meals, enjoy them at the dining table and then relax in the lounge area in front of the panorama of glinting waves and wheeling gulls. Open the patio doors and enjoy a morning coffee or a sundowner at the bistro table on the balcony. If you wish to serve up an alfresco meal for four, the enclosed courtyard at the front of the property has an outside table and chairs and, of course, amazing sea views. There are 2 small single garages, where you can also store outdoor and sporting equipment.

The popular fishing village of Porthleven has become known for its fabulous selection of high-quality places to eat, complemented by traditional pubs and a variety of art and craft galleries. The small beach opposite the cottage is accessible during low tide, while if you’re looking to spend the whole day building sand castles or swimming and sunbathing, family-friendly Praa Sands is just 5.5 miles, and Perranuthnoe is 8 miles. For great days out, the iconic St Michael’s Mount is 9.5 miles, Trebah Garden is 12 miles and St Ives only 17 miles.
