About this property

Escape to the very tip of our little island with a retreat to this stone cottage less than 6 miles from the most westerly point of mainland Britain: Land's End. A countryside retreat for two surrounded by a landscape of grassland and meadows that seem to stretch to the horizon. It's a true hideaway in the hamlet of St Buryan with lots to explore in the area including smugglers coves along the western coast and famous attractions eastwards.

An attractive converted barn with old features like the rough, stone exterior and wooden beams inside that sweep across the ceilings. Pale colours coat the barn internally and every effort has been made to ensure total relaxation on your romantic break. A wood burner crackles away in the corner while you and your partner partake of a glass of wine and count stars through the skylights.

Journey 5 miles to Britain's most westerly beach: Sennen Cove. A delightful sandy shoreline where you can surf on the tumultuous waves that arrive in off the Atlantic Ocean or perch in one of the coastal cafes to gaze across the waters and people watch those down on the beach. Take in a performance at The Minack Theatre (5 miles), a stunning open-air venue down on the south coast where actors annually perform in front of a backdrop of blue sea. While the area is dotted with pretty villages there's also the chance to stop by St Michael's Mount (10 miles) and St Ives (14 miles).
