Guests say

Three Buoys is a well-regarded cottage in Padstow Town, Cornwall, praised for its peaceful location, stunning views, and proximity to the harbour and beaches. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and lovely garden, ideal for relaxation and BBQs. While some noted areas in need of attention, the overall sentiment is positive, highlighting the property as a great find for a tranquil and convenient stay.

The majority of guests found the cottage clean, with well-kept beds and linens. One mention of bird poo on an outside table suggests minor oversights, but overall, the property is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and easy access to the town and coastal walks. The uphill walk from town is noted as therapeutic, and the proximity to the harbour and beaches is a consistent positive.

Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. The garden adds to the comfort by offering a place to relax. Some concerns about the dining space for larger groups and a quirky layout are noted, but overall comfort is rated highly.

Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen and Sky TV are appreciated, but some guests mention the need for maintenance and updates. The lack of a working fireplace and issues with a window lock and light bulbs are drawbacks. The garden and views are, however, consistent highlights.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, while the property offers a pleasant stay, there is insufficient information to assess this category.

Very good location as long as you have a reasonable level of fitness. Property nice enough but in need of a better cleaning regime, cobwebs all over the master bedroom, no mattress protector which explained the condition of the mattress as we stripped the beds on leaving. Lovely garden but so overgrown we couldn’t make use of it which was a real shame, gardener did it the night before we left and the transformation was huge, a real shame for us but good for the next guests.

This cottage is in a good location for access to the harbour and shops. However, we were disappointed on arrival to find a window that didn’t lock in the children’s bedroom, bird poo on the outside table, light bulbs not working and a missing BBQ.

The cottage is in a great location, a very short distance to town and great walks. No parking at the property which is ok if the weather is good but unloading and loading surf boards etc is a bit annoying after a few days. It is only a single track road too! Fire place is decorative only which we only found out on arrival. Towels and sheets are really good quality and the bed was very comfortable. Views out the back are lovely and it was great to have the garden.
