It could not be more conveniently situated with shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs on the doorstep, the river a stone’s throw away, and the beach within a 5-minute walk. Ideal for couples or families alike, Mor Ki is a wonderful base for exploring the best of Cornwall.
Situated in an attractive raised terrace above St Clements Terrace, the cottage is accessed by its own front door on the first floor. The apartment is homely and well presented, having been refurbished to a very high standard during 2020, including a well equipped kitchen and bathroom suite. Furnishings throughout the cottage have been tastefully selected and are traditional in style, featuring antique pieces and original artwork.
A walk aong the cliff path to Polperro is recommended; the walk is stunning along the coast and you can then finish off with some food and a beer in one of the many lovely pubs in Polperro. In Looe there are also some good pubs and restaurants including one which is right opposite the flat (booking advised). Also just out of town are very good fish and chips and a café near Talland Bay does a lovely barbecue in the evenings.
The Eden project is great, as are ‘The Lost Gardens of Heligan’ and Kilminorth Woods are lovely for a woodland walk. Fowey is also a lovely place to visit with lots of great restaurants you’d need to book in advance though.
Looe is a lovely quaint fishing village, beautiful however slightly tricky to navigate in the car as there is a one way system and very narrow roads. The best way is to head to the car park called Buller Quay, East Looe car park which is on ’Parkonomy’, it’s the car park right by the bridge opposite the Co-Op on your right as you head into Looe, park up, unload and walk the short distance to the flat. During very busy times this car park might be full in that case you can park at Riverbank Car park or Mill pool car park which are both on ’JustPark’, they are slightly further but still all in walking distance. Whether it be for a short break escape in the winter, or for a week or longer booking later in the year, you are sure to love staying here and will want to come back time and time again. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
