A tranquil getaway located amid rolling farmland on the outskirts of Bodmin Moor, Upton Cross is a tiny Cornish community that once served as a home to miners. The views and location was amazing. The cottage had everything you needed and the owners checked everything was ok during our stay. Our dog even had a welcome bag. We will definitely return.

After lots of thought, the only thing that we could think of to possibly make it even better is some kind of covering over the entrance so you can take your muddy/sandy footwear off, out of any rain, so that you're not dragging dirt into the cottage. We would look to stay here again if coming back to Cornwall, it properly feels like a home .

The cottage was well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras like the binoculars, the flowers, the night lights. We would love to go back and explore more of the countryside, villages and beauty spots. Absolutely super place to stay.
