Lowen Cottage, a traditional abode, rests in the heart of Boscastle, a small coastal village in Cornwall. This home-away-from-home is ideal for families and friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore the beauty of Cornwall. The cottage is full of character which can be sensed the moment you enter the open-plan living/dining room, with a welcoming woodburning stove, slate floors and exposed beams. Perfect for chilly winter nights, cosy up around the roaring fire and watch movies on the Smart TV, before heading to the dining table to toast a wonderful holiday. Conveniently, the fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need for a self-catered stay, whilst the ground-floor bathroom provides space for you to get ready for the day in style. Lowen Cottage boasts two inviting bedrooms, including a king-size and a double, where you can catch your rest after a long day of seaside fun. Outside, you can enjoy the warmer months with a picnic lunch on the lawn, a spot of alfresco dining on the outdoor furniture, and there is even plenty of room for your furry friends to have a play too. If you can tear yourself away from your tranquil abode, you will find Napoleon Inn, the traditional Wellington, and the trendy Long Bar and Restaurant, all worth a visit for an evening tipple or a meal out when you don’t fancy cooking. A short drive will bring you to Tintagel, a charming village in Cornwall, known for its stunning attractions such as Tintagel Castle, National Trust - Glebe Cliff, and Merlin's Cave. Further afield is Camelford, a popular spot for tourists with a wealth of attractions and amenities, including Enfield Park, for a leisurely stroll, Peckish Fish and Chips, for a taste of classic British cuisine, or Nepalese Gurkha restaurant, to savour the exotic flavours of Nepal. Enjoy all of this and more by booking Lowen Cottage.
A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. We really liked to cosy up in front of the fire, enjoyed the comfy bed, and the shower is great. Parking at our time of year visiting was no issue but imagine more of a challenge in peak season, but thatâs just Boscastle and the car park is only a short walk away. One of the most relaxing stays we have had in Boscastle and would definitely book again. Thankyou
Trudie
Parking was a challenge but wouldn't put us off visiting again. Little extras tea/coffee and milk on arrival were very much appreciated. Such a friendly village.

A representative came and said that an element had malfunctioned in the boiler and that it would be replaced the next day but when we left a week later it was still lying unopened in the utility room. Disappointing as the area is lovely but lukewarm showers after facing the rainy Cornish weather really marred our trip.
