Guests say

Trevoole Barn is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities, making it a cosy and welcoming base for exploring Cornwall. The enclosed garden is appreciated by dog owners, though some noted it's not completely secure. The location is quiet and central for visiting attractions, with some concerns about accessibility without a car. A few maintenance issues were mentioned, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and the thoughtful touches, such as cream teas on arrival.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of a mattress protector issue. The overall impression is of a high standard of cleanliness.

The central location is praised for its convenience to various Cornish attractions, though some guests noted the lack of walkability to local amenities and the need for a car to access nearby villages.

Numerous reviews commend the property for its comfortable furnishings, including a very comfortable bed and cosy living spaces, contributing to a relaxing stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-stocked kitchen and good WiFi. However, some guests reported minor maintenance issues with doors and gates, and suggestions for improved outdoor lighting.

While guests appreciated the cream teas on arrival and the property's homely feel, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

When stripping the beds at the end of our holiday we found on the single bed no mattress protector and on the double bed the mattress protector had numerous stains. More comfortable patio furniture would be a real bonus. We had to hunt for toilet roll as none were left for us in the bathroom, we found some in a big box in the living room amongst the cleaning products. Also firefighters and matches but no logs for the fire was a first for us in a 4 star property. (Once in the barn we found we were expected to purchase our own wood) The garden was huge which the dogs loved however it wasn’t secure as they could and did easily jump over the low stone walls into the big private field next door. The location was fantastic and all in all we would return with a few things tickled up.

The property was well laid out and clean . we were very lucky with the weather, having lovely days in St Ives, Hayle, Carbis Bay and Penzance.
