Wolstonbury is a pretty annexe located in Clayton, West Sussex, next to the owner's home in the South Downs National Park. The property is situated next to the owner's bungalow and boasts lovely views over Wolstonbury Hill and the Jack and Jill windmills to the front. Internally, there is a spacious open-plan living space. The property has one double bedroom with a separate shower room with modern fixtures and fittings to suit your needs. Set in the secluded countryside, this annexe has wonderful views across the surrounding fields, but is still within easy driving access of local pubs and shops. The Jack and Jill pub is a minute's walk away, a good old style pub that does great food. There is a bus stop each side of the Jack and Jill pub with buses taking you into Brighton and Burgess Hill. There is also a train station at Hassocks a mile away where you can travel to Brighton and London. It is possible for the owners to pick up visitors from Hassocks station. Outside has an enclosed patio area with a table and chairs provided, a lovely area to sit out and enjoy the evening sun with a chilling glass of champagne. A short drive away from Clayton is Brighton, where you will find many attractions including the Royal Pavilion, an exotic palace with a colourful history. Wolstonbury is ideal for a couple to enjoy the local villages of Clayton, Pyecombe and Hurstpierpoint. This area is very popular with walkers, runners and mountain bike riders. There is also a local horse-riding stables. A great cottage for a couple wanting to explore the best of West Sussex.

Clayton is a village in West Sussex, England. The village church is one of several to include medieval wall paintings by the monks from the Priory at Lewes. The paintings above the chancel arch are particularly rich and ornate. Two historic mills dominate the skyline above Clayton. These two mills are generally referred to as Jack and Jill. With plenty of local attractions such as pubs, restaurants, a library and even a cricket club.
