We have stayed at other properties in the area on previous occasions, but picked Treacle Cottage this time as we now have a dog and they pride themselves on being dog friendly. The property was beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy. We found everything we needed and were very impressed with the welcome pack, which also included some dog treats - what a lovely touch! The village is beautiful and we made good use of the shop and the pub - including the Chinese takeaway that operates out of the pub. We would deifinitely recommend Treacle Cottage to anyone looking for a countryside break in a beautilful village and hope to visit again ourselves.

One of the owner, Nikki, met us on the first day and we had a pleasant and friendly chat. We fully endorse all the positive comments made about the cottage and really struggle to find any negative. Thoroughly recommended.

A warm welcome from the owners and the super little village store. Definitely one for a second visit.
