Finch Cottage had everything we could have needed to help make our break away stress free and relaxing. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise as were the practical touches like tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets and even bath salts all on hand. The location was perfect for us, handy for all the things we wanted to do but really peaceful and quiet in the village. The information on all the local facilities was really comprehensive and we ended up doing quite a few extra things we hadn’t originally planned based on this. We were absolutely ‘wowed’ by Finch Cottage and can’t recommend it highly enough.

A welcome retreat for a long weekend. The cottage is immaculate, traditionally built yet modern and cosy. Being February, the log burner was much appreciated and very easy to use. A nice addition to the underfloor heating downstairs on a chilly day. Super-comfy beds and thoughtful touches such as homemade muesli provided by owner. The village is very attractive Cotswold stone and local walks straight from the cottage door were a joy. We walked over to the Oxford Union Canal one day which was interesting with the locks near Claydon. The Castle pub at Edgehill (site of a Civil War battle) did excellent lunch on Saturday with amazing views from the garden. Would highly recommend Finch Cottage. We plan to return!

Lovely cottage. Very clean and well equipped. The owners have a little gem. Will be visiting again.
